About the Role:
MindLink Resources LLC is looking for a skilled On Site Simultaneous Interpreter – Spanish to join our team in the Portland Metro Area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by bridging language barriers in real time, ensuring clear and accurate communication for every individual we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time simultaneous interpretation between English and Spanish in on-site settings
- Accurately convey tone, intent, and meaning while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality
- Support communication in professional environments such as meetings, hearings, medical appointments, or legal proceedings
- Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant terminology, subject matter, and materials in advance
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to interpreter ethics and standards at all times
- Collaborate with clients and staff to ensure smooth and effective communication flow
- Document and report any interpretation challenges or concerns as needed
Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation in professional or specialized settings
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (medical, legal, or business preferred)
- Certification from a recognized interpreting organization (e.g., ATA, CCHI, RID) is a plus
- Strong active listening, memory retention, and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and neutrality
- Ability to travel to various on-site locations in and around the Portland/Vancouver area
- Experience using interpreting headsets.

Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
