About the Role:
MindLink Resources LLC is looking for skilled Educational Interpreters in the following languages: Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Amharic, Tigrinya to support onsite appointments in Edmonds, WA. This is a meaningful opportunity to bridge communication gaps and make a direct impact on students' educational experiences. Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation during onsite educational appointments
- Facilitate clear communication between students, parents, educators, and school staff
- Interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and student support sessions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics throughout all assignments
- Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse student populations
- Accurately convey tone, intent, and meaning across language barriers in real time
- Coordinate with school administrators and MindLink staff to ensure smooth appointment logistics
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language
- Prior experience in educational, medical, or community interpreting preferred
- Knowledge of educational terminology, IEP processes, and school systems a plus
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
- Ability to remain neutral, professional, and impartial in all settings
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to onsite locations in Edmonds, WA
- Interpreter certification (such as RID, BEI, or state-recognized credential) preferred

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
